Susan Lund is an economist with deep expertise in global financial markets, economic growth, and labor markets. She is currently a Partner of McKinsey & Company at the McKinsey Global Institute, the firm's economic research arm. In that position, she leads research projects as well as advising clients and policy makers. She is also a frequent speaker at conferences on economics and global financial markets, and has authored numerous articles in leading business publications and newspapers. Lund joined McKinsey & Company in 1996 as a consultant, and she worked with a range of private sector clients before joining the McKinsey Global Institute. Prior to that, Lund lived and worked in Africa and Asia promoting economic development, an issue she remains passionate about. She now resides in Washington DC.
